About us
The HAWX team
HAWX Aerospace consists of experienced engineers and technicians who have served in the aerospace industry and civil aviation. Named after the hawk, one of our national birds of prey, the HAWX team came together in early 2023 to make a difference in aviation and aerospace and to be a representative of innovation. We work actively on fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle systems, rotary-wing drones and autonomous flight software, with a primary focus on vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) platforms.
The HAWX logo
Our logo reflects our mission, design philosophy and future goals. The inverted talon symbolizes the agility of the systems we design and the perfection we strive for in the systems we produce. The partly visible star shows that our goals are not limited to the sky and stands for the ever-advancing new technologies we follow closely. The crescent shape of the talon and the star facing it, on a red background, reflect our national flag and our company's origins. The logo's negative design brings the background forward, showing our passion for the sky and aviation.

Solutions
Aerial solutions for problems on the ground
We produce UAV platforms designed for a wide range of civil aviation applications, accessible and customizable to each customer's needs. With our fixed-wing, rotary-wing and VTOL range, we deliver the right solution for even the most demanding work. For businesses developing their own systems, our engineers provide design and software consultancy.
- Comprehensive project development
A long-term process that takes draft sketches all the way to the final prototype flight: conceptual, preliminary and detailed design, flight software, ground station design, prototyping and flight testing. We apply phased costing and a consistent timeline based on the system's requirements. At the end of the project we provide all engineering reports, checklists, user and maintenance manuals, pilot training and technical support.
- Flight software
For avionics and flight software, our engineers design, test in simulation and in the field, and prepare precise flight control systems for rotary-wing drones, fixed-wing UAVs and VTOL platforms, ready to fly and built to your requirements. We also install your sensor systems and flight computers, so your platforms are ready for their missions.
- Design optimization
We optimize the design of the aerial vehicle you are producing or already own to improve its aerodynamic performance, reducing energy use and increasing flight time and range. This may mean fundamental changes to the fuselage, wings, tail or structure, or active and passive add-ons that boost performance without permanently changing the core design.
- Designing parts
We turn simple sketches of the parts you need into detailed 3D models, prepare them in your preferred format and produce them at the desired scale on 3D printers. On request we also remove layer lines and other surface imperfections, delivering smooth, uniform parts in the colour and finish you ask for.
- Investments and partnerships

- Maintenance and repair
Our technical team provides a full range of services for every system we deliver: general cleaning, structural and engine maintenance, periodic servicing by flight hours, post-crash repair, spare parts and software updates. Each system comes with a comprehensive maintenance manual. We also maintain and repair third-party unmanned aerial vehicles not designed by us.
